It also runs at a speed of 345 km, so you can get to your desired destination really quickly.
The ticket is valid for 90 days after issuance, and you can purchase it on a 2-day to 5-day basis according to your travel schedule, making it very convenient. Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) offers a variety of section tickets. You can choose the ticket that best suits you and purchase it.
1. THSR Flexible 2-day Pass:
You can use THSR freely for 2 days.
The validity period is within 28 days from the date of exchange, and the second day must be within 7 days from the first day.
2. THSR 3-day pass:
You can use THSR freely for 3 days.
The validity period is within 28 days from the date of exchange and is counted for 3 consecutive days.
3. THSR +TR 5-day Standard Joint Pass:
You can use TR for 5 consecutive days. You can use THSR (High Speed Rail) unlimitedly for 2 days out of 5 days.
4. THSR + TR 5-day Express Joint Pass:
Same as Standard, but you can ride on the Iruger Express and Puyouma Express.
Here's the easiest way to exchange tickets.
Taiwan THSR tickets purchased from Wag can be exchanged for actual passes at major stations such as Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung (Zuoying). If you follow the signs that say THSR at the station, you will easily find the ticket counter.
Here, you can present your passport along with your Wag Voucher and receive a High Speed Rail Pass for the period you purchased in advance. Now, with this, you can go anywhere in Taiwan.

Please show your pass to the station staff when boarding.
Show the High Speed Rail Pass you received from THSR to the station attendant, they will write down your destination and you can then pass through and board THSR. It is not a barcode or QR code system, so make sure to show your pass to the station attendant on the left or right end!

- For one-way tickets, passengers can go to the THSR Pass official website after booking, click on Manage, Redeem (select travel date) and Reserve Seats on the main menu.
- Please see the seat reservation process below.
- Passengers who have not completed seat reservation on the official Pass website will not be able to receive their tickets.
- Physical tickets, provided in the form of magnetic tickets, can be collected at the train station counter.
- Magnetic tickets allow you to enter the station through the automatic ticket gates, but you must have your passport and admission ticket with you.
- If you wish to change your itinerary after your reservation is complete, you can do so on the official website of the pass and at the counters at all stations.
- Reservation cancellations can only be made on the official Pass website.
- If you cancel your existing reservation and do not make a new reservation, you will not be able to board the train.

- Except for Taipei Main Station, Nangang Station, Banqiao Station, and Zuoying (Kaohsiung Station), the remaining HSR stations are far from the city center of the area. Therefore, it is recommended to use additional transportation to enter the city center.

What to Remember
