Legoland Japan and Sea Life Aquarium
Combo ticket for all in one day
LEGOLAND® Japan is a LEGO-themed theme park of only 9 locations in the world, and it can finally be found in Nagoya, Japan. There are a total of 7 zones: Factory, Bricktopia, Adventure, Knights Kingdom, Pilot Shore, Miniland, and LEGO® City. It is said that the set is made up of about 17 million Lego pieces and 10,000 Lego models. Isn’t that huge? Workshops are also available. You can experience everything from simple model making to advanced robot making.
SEA LIFE, which can be visited together with LEGOLAND®, is a place where children become interested in the sea by touching creatures and learning about ecology. Lego is placed here and there in the facility and water tank as original Japanese decoration, so you can also enjoy the fun of collaboration with Lego. If you are planning a trip to Nagoya, be sure to visit Nagoya Legoland® and SEA LIFE Aquarium, which are filled with children's dreams and hopes.
How to get to Legoland
Nagoya's subway lines are more complicated than you think.
To get to Legoland from Nagoya Station, you need to take the 'Aonami' line, and take the Aonami line to the last station, Kinjofuto Station. It is the station at the end of the dark blue line. The inside is more complicated than you think, so I recommend just remembering ‘Aonami’ and following the signs.
Legoland theme introduction
Legoland Japan consists of a total of 6 themes. The attractions are completely different for each theme, so it's a good idea to look carefully before moving around.
1. Factory theme:
The factory theme allows you to see Lego blocks being made.
I especially recommend bringing one since you can receive a warm, freshly made Lego block.
2. Bricktopia:
This is a space where you can use your imagination using Lego blocks.
You can build a car out of Lego, participate in a race, and climb the 50m high Lego tower for a great view.
3. Pirate Shore:
A theme of fighting against rough pirates!
You can fight pirates with water guns and even board a wrecked pirate ship.
4. Night Kingdom:
A theme that makes you a great medieval knight!
Be sure to ride the most popular attraction, The Dragon Roller Coaster.
5. Miniature Land:
This is a place where the landmarks of each country are made in miniature using Lego.
I especially like being able to see famous Japanese landmarks made using 10 million Legos.
6. Lego City:
lego vocational training center
It is a place where children can experience careers in advance. It is the best educational experience zone for children.
Introduction to Sea Life Aquarium
Sea Life Aquarium, located right next to Legoland, consists of various experience zones, 11 themes, and a Sea Life goods shop. Inside, there are many things for children to experience. So, you need to set aside quite a bit of time to visit, staying at least 1 hour and 30 minutes!
