BESTIt's good that WAUG is a little cheaper than other sites and it sends the reservation confirmation barcode right away ^^ But, I couldn't confirm that the barcode was passed to the right for two reservations, so I only saw one, so I communicated with the staff for about 20 minutes, checked it at the office, and eventually took one picture and went in. An episode has been created~ Rather than spending time taking pictures with Queen Doo, enjoy the coast of Yehliu all over the place~ I recommend~ If you really want to take a picture of Queen Doo, don't pretend to take a picture, go to the back and take a picture! ^^
A country of unique rock formations,
Yeliu Geopark
Yehliu Geopark, located on the northern coast of Taipei, is a famous tourist destination for its rock formations that stretch out in front of the sea. It is a unique tourist destination where geology and rock formations have been transformed by weathering, and you can see unique rock formations along a distance of 1.7 km.
In particular, the 'Queen's Rock', named after the head of Queen Nefertiti of ancient Egypt, and the Candlestick Rock, a rock formation shaped like a candle on a candlestick left over from erosion, are must-see rocks. There is a rest area at the end of the cape where you can rest while facing the sea, so be sure to visit!

Visit the Yeliu Geopark, a spectacular and unique landscape, and see the geological and rocky landscapes created by the influence of weathering. The rocky landscapes of Yeliu Geopark are one of the most unique landscapes in the world.
The direction in which the coast extends is almost perpendicular to the strata and structural lines, and the external influence of wave erosion, rock weathering, sea-land relative movement, and tectonic movement, etc., geological processes, have added to create this rare topography and geological landscape.

Introducing the areas of Yeliu Geopark
Yeliu Geopark is divided into three zones. Among the various rock formations, the most popular one is the 'Queen's Head Rock', which resembles a queen's head and is located in Zone 2. Now, I will introduce the rocks that can be seen in each zone.
Zone 1:
This is an area densely populated with mushroom rocks and ginger rocks, and you can also find the Candlestick Rock and Ice Cream Rock, which are famous photo spots in the Yeliu Geopark.
Zone 2:
You can see the best stars of Yeliu Geopark, the 'Queen's Head Rock' and the Elephant Rock. It is said that the current Queen's Head Rock is eroding at an accelerating rate and could disappear in a few hundred years.
Zone 3:
If you climb to the top of the third section of Yeliu Geopark, you can see the ‘Tofu Rock’ on the left.
If you've seen the Yeliu Geopark, you should also visit the traditional market.
If you have visited Yeliu Geopark, I recommend visiting the traditional market located next to the ticket booth. Here, you can find dried fish served with various seasonings. In particular, there are many small snacks, so there are plenty of delicious foods to fill your hungry stomach after visiting Yeliu Geopark.
