Start your Taiwan trip! As soon as you arrive at Taoyuan Airport, take the Airport Railroad MRT and travel from the airport to Taipei Main Station in just 40 minutes. It’s the most convenient and smart way to start your Taiwan trip.
The trains of the airport railroad run every 15 minutes, so you can board right away after waiting a little while, so there is no need to wait. Also, if you buy two one-way tickets, you can use the train from Taipei to the airport. Make the start and end of your trip to Taiwan even more convenient with the Taiwan Airport Railroad MRT.

Taoyuan Airport MRT is divided into purple and blue trains. The purple train is the faster express train. Most of the time, it goes from Taoyuan Airport to Taipei Main Station. The blue train stops at 11 stops, while the purple express train only stops at 3 stops. So you should take the purple Airport Express train.

Finding the MRT boarding location isn't difficult either.
It's really easy to find 'MRT' signs anywhere in the Taoyuan Airport arrival hall. From Terminal 1, just follow the MRT signs to Area A12 or A13.
