Haruka Train Osaka Station Stop Information

From March 18, 2023, the Osaka Station Underground Platform (Umekita area) will open, and the Kansai Airport Express “Haruka” will stop at Osaka Station.
This allows you to travel without transferring to not only Kyoto Station but also Osaka Station.

[White ticket machines can be exchanged from June 2023]

• This is an automatic reservation product and can be used on the same day of reservation.
• The actual ticket is valid only on the day you receive it.
• Please enter your exact English passport name when making a reservation. Incorrect information may result in unavailability.
• Please check and select the departure location → arrival location accurately. (Ex. Kansai Airport → Kyoto)
• After exchanging for real money, refunds are not possible for any reason.
• If you are confused about how to use the automatic ticket machine or have difficulty issuing a ticket due to a machine error, you can ask a nearby overseas travel information staff for guidance.
• After scanning the voucher QR code, it is processed as used in the system and cannot be refunded. If the ticket is not issued after scanning, please be sure to ask the on-site staff for assistance.
• Only holders of passports issued by governments other than Japan may use this service. However, permanent resident holders and those with long-term stays (student visas, work visas, etc.) are not permitted to use this service.
• You can get off the train midway, but please note that your ticket will be returned once you exit the ticket gate after getting off. In this case, the difference in fare will not be refunded.
• This ticket is a non-reserved seat ticket, but you can also reserve a seat if there are seats available. If there are no seats available, you can stand.
• If the ticket machine is defective or your passport does not have an IC chip, please go to the designated station counter (Midori-no-madoguchi) to receive a physical ticket.
• The location of the station counter (Midori-no-madoguchi) is indicated at each station.
• Children 5 years old and under may enter for free, but no seats will be provided.
• Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation voucher.
• Green ticket machines allow you to specify the date of use, but white ticket machines are only valid for the same day from the airport to the city center .
• White ticket machine: Valid only on the day of issuance/Green ticket machine: Advance ticket issuance possible by specifying a date within 1 month
• When traveling from the airport to Kobe and Nara, you will need a ticket issued by a green ticket machine because you will need to change to a local train at Osaka Station/Tennoji Station. Please do not issue a ticket using a white ticket machine.
• There are multiple ticket machines, so please check the image of the ticket machine in advance to avoid confusion when issuing tickets. See more
• Passengers heading to Kobe should get off at Shin-Osaka Station or Osaka Station and transfer to the train bound for Kobe without exiting the ticket gate.
• Passengers bound for Nara should get off at Tennoji Station and transfer to the Nara-bound train without exiting the ticket gate.
