Background from the movie Schindler's List,
Take a tour of the Schindler Factory
Oskar Schindler's factory, which first opened as an enamel factory in 1939, served as the setting for director Steven Spielberg's film Schindler's List. Although Schindler in the film joined the Nazi Party for business, his final destination was to save approximately 1,100 Jews, and it depicted the vicious nature of the Nazi army at the time. The Schindler Factory, which was used as a space to hide them, currently has various exhibits and records related to its twisted history.
