Tips for using the Eurail Germany Pass
The Eurail Germany Pass allows you to travel on high-speed train services or regional trains operated by Renfe. When purchasing your pass, choose a 1st or 2nd class ticket and the period of travel that suits your itinerary. When purchasing your Eurail Germany Pass, you will receive your pass within 1 business day.

How To Use
- When making a reservation, you must enter the representative information again in the User 1 field.

- After booking, you will receive an email with a Eurail activation link within 24 hours.
- You can check and make reservations for mandatory seat reservation sections through the Eurail website. Go to
- Click on the link sent to your email, enter your passport number and activate your Eurail Pass through the application.
- After activation, please enter the start date of your Eurail Pass.
- After entering your start date, you can book your train according to your travel schedule in the application.
- You must activate it via the application within 11 months from the reservation date.
- If you take a train departing in the evening and arrive at your destination the next day, only the day of departure is counted. (Example: If you depart at 19:00 on January 2nd and arrive at 04:00 on January 3rd > January 2nd is counted as one day.)
- The non-consecutive days selected must be used within 1 month, depending on the option. (e.g. for the 3-day German Flex Pass, 3 uses are required within 1 month from the start date)
- Unlimited use depending on the option selected (e.g., for a 15-day Global Consecutive Pass, you can use it anytime within 15 days from the start date)
What to Remember

- A 1st class pass can be used in both 1st and 2nd class. A 2nd class pass can be used in 2nd class only.
- Eurail Passes must be activated via the application within 11 months from the reservation date.
- The days are counted from the start date and vary depending on the option you select.
Age requirement
- All age requirements are based on full age and apply based on full age as of the start date.
- The Eurail Germany Mobile Pass allows up to two children per adult to travel free of charge.
- When making a reservation, you must provide reservation information for all persons.
- If 3 or more children are accompanying one adult, you can purchase youth tickets for the number of people exceeding 2. (Example: 1 adult, 3 children = 1 adult ticket + 1 youth ticket)
- However, if 3 or more children are accompanying 1 adult, please select 1 adult, 2 children, and 1 teenager to fill in the information for all children.
- Adults: 28 - 59 years old
- Youth: 12 - 27 years old
- Children: 4 - 11 years old
- The pass activation date must be after the departure date.
- To use your Eurail Pass, you must download the application and activate it by clicking on the link sent to your email.
- When making a reservation, the English name you enter must match the English name on your passport.
