Torture chamber. A back alley that became a maze. The Black Death spread and a great fire burned everything in the city. It's hard to believe, but this all really happened in Hamburg. This is hard to imagine in today's glamorous and romantic Hamburg. Experience the dark history of Hamburg with realistic performances from actors and explanations from an English guide.
Get out of the maze and get locked in a prison where the prisoners are harsh. While enjoying the thrill, you'll also learn about Hamburg's history. The souvenir shop also sells model torture devices. Be sure to visit the infamous Santa Fu prison, which opened in 2018.
Should I go to the dungeon?
The inside of the dungeon is an entertainment space where you can revisit the dark Hamburg in an immersive way with interesting themes and entertainment elements. I recommend a visit as you can enjoy a variety of themes, with the main themes being the dark side of German history, crime, ghost stories, horror and thrills.
