Carcassonne attracts as many visitors every year as the more famous Mont Saint-Michel. Even if you don’t know this city, visiting this place will stimulate your imagination. Your entrance ticket allows you to walk through Kongtal Castle and the massive double walls with 52 watchtowers surrounding the ancient village. You can also visit the 14th century Daewoo Museum.

Napoleon decided to demolish the building in the 19th century, but fortunately the campaign to save Carcassonne was successful and it was restored. That's how it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
