What to Remember
- Please present your mobile voucher and original passport at the venue.
- Tables and seats onboard the cruise cannot be assigned. Seats are assigned randomly.
- An additional fee will apply if you wish to reserve a private table by the window.
- The minimum number of participants for this tour is 10. If the minimum number of participants is not met, you will be notified of the cancellation via email 3 days prior to departure.
- Please arrive at the designated location 15 minutes early to avoid any disruption to your schedule.
- Cancellation and refund are not possible in case of late arrival or no-show.
- Only those who have been fully vaccinated and have a low-risk digital certificate will be allowed to board.
- Outside food and drinks are not allowed onboard North Borneo Cruises. Corkage fees apply for outside drinks.
- In all situations involving the safety of the ship and passengers, the cruise captain has the final authority to make decisions.
- The operator/cruise captain reserves the right to refuse boarding without refund if a passenger behaves unruly under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Any damage or loss to cabin or cruise equipment caused by negligence or unruliness must be replaced or repaired by the responsible passenger.
- North Borneo Cruises is not responsible for any injury suffered by passengers due to negligence, unruliness or violent behavior on board.
- Children (11 years and under) must be supervised by an adult at all times. North Borneo Cruises crew and cruise attendants are not responsible for this.
- Passengers with disabilities must be accompanied by an attendant at all times. North Borneo Cruises crew and cruise attendants will take reasonable care to accommodate them on board but will not be responsible for their movement on board.
- We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
- An additional peak season surcharge of 'RM 50 per adult and RM 30 per child' will apply for departures during public holidays and long weekends, payable on site. (24 Dec 2024, 25 Dec 2024, 31 Dec 2024 and 2 Jan 2024)
Cancellation and Refund
• A 75% cancellation fee applies 15 to 29 days prior to the designated date.
• An 85% cancellation fee applies 8 to 14 days prior to the designated date.
• A 95% cancellation fee applies 4 to 7 days prior to the designated date.
• A 100% cancellation fee applies 0 to 3 days prior to the designated date.
• Cancellation/refund requests must be received during business hours (Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:00 / excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays). Cancellations received outside of business hours will be processed on the next business day (based on business hours).
• Reservation cancellation and refund requests must be made during business hours and then confirmed.
