Departing from the Kurashiki Monogatari Museum on a 30-minute rickshaw ride, you can experience the strong Edo style of Honmachi, Higashimachi bordering Kuma and the banks of the Kurashiki River. Enjoy famous attractions such as the street preservation district and the history of the O'Hara family, who founded the O'Hara Museum of Art.

2. Kurashiki Zashiki Tour (60 minutes)

This course allows you to experience Kurashiki's east-west history, the preserved towns and streets of Honmachi and Higashimachi, and the atmosphere along the Kurashiki River.

If you think 1 hour is too fast and there is still a lot to see and do, I recommend a 2 hour rickshaw trip. The Mikan District is a place where the east and west areas with a history from the Edo period to the Meiji period are gathered together. We introduce you to famous scenic spots to less famous private scenic spots without reservation. In addition to visiting Achi Shrine, which has a history of 1,700 years, you can also visit the Zashiki Ohashi Family, which is the only shrine in the Mikan area that has been designated as a nationally important cultural property.
