Sunshine City, located in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, is a landmark of Ikebukuro centered around the super high-rise Building 60. Sunshine City is the tallest building in Ikebukuro and was said to be the tallest building at the time of its completion. The upper floors are lined with various commercial facilities including an observatory, as well as an aquarium, theme park, planetarium, theater, leisure facilities, convention hall, shopping mall, event venue, and even mansions, making it Japan's first multi-complex urban facility.

Sunshine City Aquarium is popular for its rare fish and aquatic and terrestrial animals, and also holds the title of Japan's first rooftop aquarium. It's not too far away, so I recommend it for a light visit, whether on a date, with friends, or with family.
