Architectural Jewel, Allianz Riviera

Do you know Jean-Michel Wilmotte? He is a world-renowned architect who designed the Louis Vuitton headquarters, the Louvre Museum, and Incheon International Airport. The National Sports Museum and the Allianz Riviera are also architectural gems designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte. This stadium, boasting precise lines and stable volumes, is a great sight to see as a building in itself.

Musee National Sports Museum

At the bottom of the stadium is the National Museum of Sport, which houses one of the largest collections of sporting objects and documents. It is a place for the preservation, dissemination and promotion of France's sporting heritage. It has one of the largest collections in the world on the subject of sport, with over 100,000 objects and documents.

The permanent exhibition, organized into four challenges, hides treasures such as Jean-Claude Killy's skis, Marcel Cerdan's costumes, the first fork and Yannick Noah's snowshoes.

Come visit us with ease

Through ongoing collaboration with local authorities, we have made the accessibility of the stadium a strength. The tramway connection at the end of 2019 will make public transport more accessible.

It is directly connected to the Côte d'Azur International Airport by tram, and the city centre is accessible by train (Chemins de Fer de Provence), bus (line 95) and tram. For those outside Nice, the proximity to the A8 motorway provides direct access to the relief car parks (PMIN and P5 Arboras) connected to the stadium by a free shuttle route.
