If you want to fully enjoy the beautiful Han River, try wakesurfing. Many people wonder what the difference is between wakeboarding and wakesurfing. They both involve riding waves created by a boat, but there are some minor differences.

First of all, wakeboarding and wakesurfing have different board shapes. Wakeboarding has a device to secure the board and feet like a snowboard, while wakesurfing uses a flat board. Wakesurfing boards are also a little different from regular surfboards. Wakesurfing boards are smaller, around 4 feet long.

How to get to River City

River City Water Ski Resort is located in Jamwon Hangang Park, a hot place in Seoul. If you use navigation, you can search for 'River City Water Ski Resort' or '37-53 Apgujeong-ro 11-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul'.

• Basic rate: 1,000 won for the first 30 minutes, 200 won for every additional 10 minutes

Introducing how to wakesurf

Get pulled by the surfboard - Try to land on the board while maintaining your stance until the board is firmly attached to your feet.
Maintain your posture - Don't try to get up, just hold on to your posture and resist the current.
Look Left + Move Left - If you look to the left of the boat and stay still, it will automatically return to the center.
Stand up - Stand up slowly while surfing the wave with your legs spread apart. Make sure your left foot is in the center of the surfboard.
Let go of the line - Let go of all the line you are holding while keeping your center of gravity and feel the waves flowing freely.
