We invite you to the flower paradise, ACAO FOREST! ACAO FOREST has 13 unique themed gardens and overlooks the Sagami Sea. Here, you can enjoy a garden for the five senses where seasonal flowers and herbs bloom against the backdrop of the blue sea and sky of Atami.

In addition to the garden, the park also has a cafe with a superb view called COEDA HOUSE designed by Kengo Kuma, Soga Sengen Shrine, and a workshop where you can experience making things yourself, so feel free to enjoy them!

Let me introduce you to COEDA HOUSE, a place where you can relax and heal in the park. This is not just a simple cafe, but a space where you can commune with nature through the meeting of a rose garden and architecture. Designed by Japan's representative architect, Kengo Kuma, he used glass on the exterior to create a building that looks like a large tree by combining small branches, and he designed it to harmonize with the rose garden with mirrored furniture.

The charm of COEDA HOUSE does not end with the beauty of the space. The original desserts here, 'Atami Orange Cheesecake', 'Koeda Kuchen', and 'Rose Ice Cream' are representative. They are all made to reflect the local characteristics. With a variety of attractive desserts available, enjoy them on the terrace seats and deck facing the sea with an unobstructed view of the horizon.

ACAO FOREST is a space where dogs are allowed to enter as long as they are on a leash. For those of you traveling with your precious pets, please let your dogs enjoy the wide and natural walking course! It can create special memories for you and your pets. Even if you are not traveling with your pets, it is very attractive to see happy dogs walking here.

Pets are not allowed in shops or restaurants, but don't worry, you can dine with your dog if you use the terrace seats!

It’s great to take home a souvenir you made yourself from your trip, because it lets you vividly recall your travel memories while looking at the souvenir. How about making your own craft at the herb workshop, where you can take home the fragrant scent of this place?

There are experiences available for making herbal soap with herbal water and manuka honey, and for making special solid perfume using only natural materials such as nail oil , essential oil, carrier oil, and beeswax. Each experience takes about 5 to 15 minutes and 30 to 60 minutes, respectively, so it is an activity highly recommended for those who don’t want to just turn back.
