From Padangbai, Bali to Gili

The departure point for the ferry from Bali to Gili is Padang Bai. After being picked up from each hotel, upon arrival in Padang Bai, check in at the Eka Jaya Ticket Office and then board the ship at the boarding location according to the sailing time. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes by ferry from Padang Bai to Gili Trawangan.

After arriving at the Gili Islands and getting off at the dock, collect your luggage and move on. Please note that there is no public transportation, including cars, on the Gili Islands, so you will have to walk, bicycle, or use the local horse-drawn carriage!

When the ferry departs, you can go up to the second floor deck. You can relax in the cool air-conditioned interior, or go up to the deck and enjoy the sun, sea, and cool breeze with a beer sold at Eka Jaya. (However, the sunlight is strong, so be careful of sunburn!)

From Gili to Padang Bai, Bali

If you have purchased a round-trip ticket from Bali ↔ Gili, you must purchase the ticket or check-in in advance at least 1 day before leaving Gili Trawangan. Please go to the Eka Jaya office at the port where you disembarked and make a reservation for boarding.

For reference, the itinerary to go from Gili Trawangan to Padangbai takes 2 hours and 30 minutes because, unlike coming in from Bali, you stop by all the islands (Meno, Air, and Bangsal, Lombok). It takes about an hour longer than coming from Padangbai, Bali to Gili, so please keep that in mind when planning your travel itinerary!

What if you want exclusive pickup?

If you would like individual pickup for just your group, you can select it as an additional option when making a reservation.

If you add the private pick-up option, you can get to the port more quickly and comfortably. Also, please note that although airport drop-off is possible, airport pick-up is not possible as the flight may not arrive on time!
