BESTThe night view of Hong Kong from the Ferris wheel is truly spectacular. It was a bit disappointing that there was a lot of waiting in the evening, but I was very satisfied because I could rotate 3 times and see the night view of Hong Kong.
Central's landmark,
Hong Kong Observation Wheel
Experience unforgettable views of Hong Kong’s skyline from the 60-meter-high Observation Wheel. Enjoy stunning views of Victoria Harbour and panoramic views of the city.
It takes about 20 minutes to ride the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, and the interior is air-conditioned, so you can enjoy a comfortable experience regardless of the season. It also provides free Wi-Fi, so you can share videos with your friends in real time!
Hong Kong day and night,
Anytime is fine!
When you think of Hong Kong, the night view comes to mind first, right? However, the sparkling night view is nice, but the daytime is better to enjoy the wide open cool sea and harbor. The 60m high Ferris wheel is right in front of the harbor, so it provides an unobstructed view. If you want to take a life shot full of Hong Kong emotions, visit during the daytime when the blue sea stands out.
However, if you don't want to miss the romantic night view created by the sunset and the lights turning on one by one after the sun sets, check the sunset time in advance and visit 1 hour to 30 minutes before sunset.
Enjoy it on 3 wheels
Haven't you ever felt disappointed when a Ferris wheel only goes around once? Hong Kong's Ferris wheel goes around three times when you ride it once. It takes about 20 minutes in total, so you can enjoy the view to your heart's content during a time that is neither too long nor too short.
How do I get there?
How to get to the AIA Observation Wheel! Take the MTR to Hong Kong Station Exit A2 or Central Station Exit A and walk along Main Street for about 10-15 minutes. If you enter IFC Mall from Hong Kong Station, cross the bridge connecting to Central Ferry Pier at Level P1.
Alternatively, take the ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier to Central Pier 7 and then walk for 5 minutes towards Pier 9.
Central is a great place to go for sightseeing, shopping, and leisure. In addition to IFC Mall and the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, you can also go to a restaurant in nearby Soho Street and enjoy the nightlife in Lan Kwai Fong. Central is a must-visit area in Hong Kong where you can experience a variety of things.
