MRT
Operating hours: 05:55 - 24:00
Interval between departures: 5 - 10 minutes
The MRT currently operates two lines, the Red and Orange lines. The lines extend not only to the downtown area but also to the suburbs, and are characterized by fast travel speeds and accurate timetables.
Light rail
Operating hours: 07:00 - 22:00
Interval: 15 minutes
Light rail is also called LRT, and there are two lines, green and gray. It is smaller and lighter than MRT, and usually operates above ground, and mainly provides short-distance connections in urban areas or suburban areas.

Valid on the first day of use during MRT operating hours (unlimited rides)
Kaohsiung MRT 2-day pass
Valid for 2 days including the first day of use during MRT operating hours. (Unlimited rides) For example, if the ticket is first used at 1pm on June 1, the ticket is valid until the last MRT ride on June 2.
Kaohsiung MRT & LRT 1-Day Pass
Valid on the first day of use within the MRT and LRT operating hours. (Unlimited rides) Also, QR code scanning is currently not required to use the LRT, and you can simply present the QR code to the ticket seller when needed. (For example, if you use the ticket at 1pm on June 1, it is valid until the last MRT & LRT ride on June 1.)

Valid for 2 days including the first day of use during MRT and LRT operating hours. How to use:
When using Kaohsiung MRT
Present your QR code at the turnstile and scan it. Once the scan is approved, you will be granted entry.
When using the Kaohsiung Light Rail
QR code scanning is currently not required when using the light rail. Simply present the QR code to the ticket agent when required.

What to Remember

- Please use your ticket within 6 months of purchase. Otherwise, the ticket will expire and cannot be refunded.
- Kaohsiung MRT
- First train: 05:55 AM
- Last boarding: 00:00
- If the first use time is between 00:00 and 05:55, the validity period ends the previous day.
- Example 1 (1-day ticket): If you use the ticket at 1:00 PM on June 1, it is valid until the last MRT ride on June 1.
- Example 2 (1-day ticket): If you use the ticket at 12:15 AM on June 1, the validity period will end when the last train departs on May 31, and you will not be able to use the first train on June 1. Please consider this before making a reservation. - Adult ticket prices apply to travelers of all ages. Children under 6 years old are admitted free (proof of age required for children over 115cm tall), and must be accompanied by a ticket holder.
- The QR code can only be used by the rightful owner and cannot be transferred in any way. Failure to comply with this will be considered fare evasion and Article 49 of the Public Transport Act will apply.
- Exchange is possible within 6 months from the date of issue.
Cancellation and Refund
• Cancellation/refund requests are limited to those received during business hours (Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:00 / excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays). Cancellations received outside of business hours will be processed on the next business day (based on business hours).
• Reservation cancellation and refund requests must be made during business hours and then confirmed.
