Here is some simple information and routes about MRT and LRT. It will be helpful when you make a reservation or travel!
MRT
Operating hours: 05:55 - 24:00
Interval between departures: 5 - 10 minutes
The MRT currently operates two lines, the Red and Orange lines. The lines extend not only to the downtown area but also to the suburbs, and are characterized by fast travel speeds and accurate timetables.
Light rail
Operating hours: 07:00 - 22:00
Interval: 15 minutes
Light rail is also called LRT, and there are two lines, green and gray. It is smaller and lighter than MRT, and usually operates above ground, and mainly provides short-distance connections in urban areas or suburban areas.

Kaohsiung MRT 1-day pass
Valid on the first day of use during MRT operating hours (unlimited rides)
Kaohsiung MRT 2-day pass
Valid for 2 days including the first day of use during MRT operating hours. (Unlimited rides) For example, if the ticket is first used at 1pm on June 1, the ticket is valid until the last MRT ride on June 2.
Kaohsiung MRT & LRT 1-Day Pass
Valid on the first day of use within the MRT and LRT operating hours. (Unlimited rides) Also, QR code scanning is currently not required to use the LRT, and you can simply present the QR code to the ticket seller when needed. (For example, if you use the ticket at 1pm on June 1, it is valid until the last MRT & LRT ride on June 1.)
Kaohsiung MRT & LRT 2-day pass
Valid for 2 days including the first day of use during MRT and LRT operating hours. (Unlimited rides) Also, QR code scanning is currently not required to use LRT, just present the QR code to the ticket seller when needed. How to use:
When using Kaohsiung MRT
Present your QR code at the turnstile and scan it. Once the scan is approved, you will be granted entry.
When using the Kaohsiung Light Rail
QR code scanning is currently not required when using the light rail. Simply present the QR code to the ticket agent when required.
