Here's how to exchange your pass
You can exchange the JR Kansai Wide Pass purchased from WAUG at the green vending machine (automatic ticket machine) on the 2nd floor of the JR station at Kansai International Airport. It is really not difficult as you just have to follow the steps below.
How to use the ticket machine:
1. Please prepare your passport and mobile voucher.
2. Please select a language from the top menu of the ticket machine. (English, Chinese, Korean supported)
3. Select “Recieve reserved ticket”
4. Select “Exchange for Japan Pass”
5. Scan the mobile voucher QR code at the exact location .
6. Select the pass start date. (You can select up to 1 month in the future)
7. Click Agree to the information about pass receipt qualifications and personal information. (Total 2 questions)
8. Please scan your e-passport at the correct location . (If it is not an e-passport, you cannot scan it and must collect it in person.)
9. On the confirmation page, check the product and collect your rail pass.

Here are some great tips for reserving reserved seats.
For lines that operate with free seating, you can freely insert your ticket into the gate and sit down, but some sections operate with reserved seating. Therefore, it is a good idea to know how to reserve reserved seating in advance.
How to reserve a reserved seat:

2. Insert your JR Pass into the space that says Commuter Pass.
3. After activating the reserved seat button, touch the button.

Introducing the routes of the JR Kansai Wide Pass
With the JR Wide Pass, you can use Kansai Airport as your base and travel to most of the places you want, including Wakayama, Nara, Osaka, Kyoto, Shin-Osaka, Kobe, and Okayama.
One particularly great thing about this route is that you can travel from Shin-Osaka to Okayama on the Sanyo Shinkansen. It’s a really fast ride.
You can also ride the Haruka. (Being able to ride the Haruka is really the best) You can use the Haruka to go from Kansai Airport to the city center or to Kyoto, so it's really useful.

What to Remember
- This product is an automatic reservation product and can be used on the same day of reservation.
- Once your reservation is complete, two PDF files (three electronic vouchers) will be sent to you by email.
- Only short-term visitors to Japan can purchase this product. (Not available to long-term visitors)
- Free cancellation is possible only if all three types of vouchers are not exchanged within the validity period, but cancellation is not possible if even one of them has been used. (Partial cancellation is not possible)
- It can be used for 5 days from the specified date within the validity period.
- Please make sure to bring your passport when purchasing a ticket. A copy of your passport is not acceptable.
- Physical ticket machines are available in Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Korean.
- If the ticket machine is defective or your passport does not have an IC chip, please go to the designated station counter (Midori-no-madoguchi) to receive a physical ticket.
- If you need additional tickets for your trip, please purchase them at a JR West station before boarding.
- The location of the station counter (Midori-no-Madoguchi) is indicated at each station.
- The Kansai Wide Pass sold by this product is a pass for those aged 12 or older.
- The number of times you can use a reserved seat is unlimited.

- If you purchase 2 tickets with one reservation, the validity period will remain the same for 7 days from the time of first use of the 2 tickets.
