The most convenient way to get from Kansai Airport to Osaka! Take the Haruka Express. You can get to Osaka/Shin-Osaka in one train without having to use complicated public transportation, so it is convenient. In addition, you will also be given a ticket to the Umeda Sky Garden Observatory, a famous restaurant, so it is the perfect way to enjoy a fulfilling trip.
If you purchase the Haruka one-way ticket and the Sky Garden ticket separately, the total cost will be 3,800 yen, but if you purchase them as a set, you can purchase them for around 2,800 yen. 3rd floor: Departure gate to the sky
You can go up to the Umeda Sky Building observation deck from the KUCHU TEIEN gate on the 3rd floor.
39th floor: Ticket office, gallery shop, restaurant & bar
You can enter the observatory by presenting your WAUG voucher at the ticket booth on the 39th floor and exchanging it for a ticket.
You can also find a gallery shop selling various goods, Chinese restaurant Sanggu, and Sky Lounge Stardust.
40th floor: Gallery floating in the sky
You can find a gallery and Sky 40 Cafe that become one with the beautiful scenery outside the window.
RF: Rooftop Observatory
An unknown world above the clouds! You can encounter the sky walk and rooftop observatory while walking.
Haruka route guide
The Haruka train from Kansai Airport can only take you to Osaka Station or Shin-Osaka Station! Travel the fastest and most convenient way with the Haruka Limited Express.
Don't forget that the Haruka train, which is sold for a limited time, has car number 8 as its designated car!
How to exchange tickets
If you arrive at Kansai Airport Station on JR West, you must exchange the QR code on the mobile voucher you received from WAUG for a ticket at the 'white dedicated exchange machine' installed in front of the automatic ticket gate.
Please remember the machine circled in red in the photo above!
Don't worry, it's not difficult at all if you follow the order below.
1. Find a dedicated exchange machine
2. Prepare QR code (printed voucher is also acceptable)
3. Select language - Start button - Check caution - Confirm button - Scan QR code
4. Check the train departure time and select the train.
5. Print the ticket * If the train is full, use a free seat or the next train
6. Receive usage summary sheet
7. Go to the manned ticket gate with a station attendant, present your ticket, and pass through.
8. Go to an empty seat in car 8 of the train and sit down.
* If the station attendant is absent, please press the intercom next to the ticket gate to call the attendant.
