This special performance takes place right in front of the beach, and is one of the most popular performances you won’t want to miss while traveling in Bali, as you can enjoy the Kecak dance while taking in the beautiful scenery.
Mysterious Ketchak Dance
Kecak dance, which evolved from Sanghyang, an ancient Balinese ritual dance, began in the 1930s. Originating from a ritual to ward off evil spirits, Kecak dance is said to be based on stories from Bali’s Hindu mythology, the Ramayana. The most unique aspect of Kecak dance! Instead of using traditional instruments, dozens of men dance while making repetitive sounds of “Kecak, Kecak, Kecak.” This performance, which sounds like a choir, is said to heighten the mysterious atmosphere and tension.

- This facility is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
- Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend arriving 30 minutes before the show starts to secure a good seat.
- You can exchange your voucher for a physical ticket at the on-site ticket booth from 2pm onwards.
- Admission is free for children aged 9 and under.
- Please make sure to bring your passport or ID card before entering.
- We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to prepare for any unexpected events while traveling abroad.
- Changes and refunds are not possible due to no-shows or late arrivals.
- Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation voucher. Depending on local circumstances, your reservation may not be accepted or a refund may be issued.
