The Cobek cooking class begins with a tour of Bali’s vibrant traditional market. At the market, you will personally select and purchase spices and ingredients that are the core of Balinese cuisine with your instructor. As you walk around the market, you will experience colorful tropical fruits, fresh vegetables, and the intense spices unique to Bali up close!

• Pumpkin Soup (Vegetable Soup with Pumpkin)
• Pepes Akan (a traditional Balinese dish of steamed and grilled fish wrapped in banana leaves with spices)
• Lawar Bali (Traditional Balinese salad made with vegetables, grated coconut, and various spices)
• Kari Ayam (chicken curry with Balinese sauce)
• Tempeh Lala Manis (Balinese snack of crispy fried tempeh covered in sweet and spicy sauce)
