How to get to Universal Studios Hollywood

There are several ways to get to Universal Studios Hollywood, but I recommend taking Uber rather than public transportation. It’s not easy to get around by public transportation in the US, and taking the LA subway can be a bit risky, so Uber is the best option.

If you are renting a car, it is best to avoid front gate parking. Front gate parking is quite expensive at $70 per day. If you use the general parking area, you can park for $30.

If you look at the map of Universal Studios Hollywood, you can see that it is largely divided into the Lower Lot and the Upper Lot. The two areas are connected by an escalator, but there is a considerable distance between them. So it is a good idea to plan your route carefully.

This is the best route to take. I definitely recommend starting with Nintendo World, then riding the big 3 attractions in the Lower Lot, and then going to see Harry Potter.

Introducing Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey

The most popular theme at Universal Studios Hollywood is definitely the World of Harry Potter. The attraction Harry Potter: The Forbidden Journey & the Hippogriff is also extremely popular.

Forbidden Journey is an attraction where you move like you are playing a Snitch game on a broomstick. It is not scary because it is a 3D attraction, but it is a thrilling attraction in its own way. If you go straight to Harry Potter with the open run, you can ride without waiting. Flight of the Hippogriff is a roller coaster, but it is not scary enough for children to ride. The best thing about the Hippogriff is that you can see the top of Hogwarts Castle while riding in a basket, which is the most attractive.

Harry Potter Next is Jurassic World

The next place to visit after the World of Harry Potter is Jurassic World. Here, you can ride the Jurassic World Ride, which is similar to the flume ride. It's not just about riding a boat, but there's a story behind it, and the story is really interesting.
