Nikko Futarasan Shrine
New religion & identity
Nikko Futarasan Shrine, designated as a Japanese national treasure, is also designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with Toshogu and Rinnoji. Visit Nikko Futarasan Shrine, which was built many times over a long history of about 1,200 years, and take the time to look around Futarasan Shrine, which is in harmony with nature.
Among them, the Shinkyo Bridge, a symbol of Mt. Nikko, and the Shinwon observation area, which is located separately, require tickets to enter, so purchase them in advance and visit with ease.

Red Shinkyo (神橋)
Shinkyo, which means "Bridge of God," is located at the entrance of Futarasan Shrine and is a symbolic bridge with a red exterior. It is 28m long, 7.4m wide, and 10.6m high, and is one of the symbolic structures representing Nikko, so if you visit Nikko, I recommend crossing it at least once.
Don't forget to take a nice photo with the Shinkyo Bridge in the background, which is in harmony with the beautiful nature of Mt. Nikko that spreads out behind the bridge.
Futarasan Shrine Shinwon (神苑)
The Shinwon of Futarasan Shrine is also a separate exhibition area, and you cannot enter without a ticket, so it is convenient to purchase a ticket in advance and enter. There are many things to see in the Shinwon of Futarasan Shrine, including important cultural properties of Japan, a 700-year-old tree, and Mitomo Shrine. In particular, there is a spring called Futara Reisen (二荒霊泉) located inside, and it is said that if you drink the water, you will become wise, heal illnesses, and become younger, so I recommend that you go and see it for yourself.
