Digital Immersion Gallery,
Queendom Sandbox
Experience Quantum Sandbox, a digital immersive gallery where science and art meet. Themed around quantum physics, the artwork uses digital technology to incorporate scientific concepts such as quantum computing and quantum tunneling into digital art, allowing viewers to understand the complex concepts of quantum physics in a visual and sensory way.
Native Science of Reading the Land
Calgary is a place with a deep cultural influence from the Aboriginal people, so we also introduce Aboriginal science. We explain that if we open our minds to the way to find out the cycle of life from the land, sky, and spirit through the experience of learning about agriculture that cultivated plants and the sense of the movement of the horizon and constellations that guided navigation, science will naturally be incorporated into our lives.
Live Planetarium Show
Immerse yourself in a planetarium show that takes you from the beginning of the universe to the furthest reaches of the Earth. The Infinity Dome Theater is over 21 meters high on the third floor. The 360-degree images will open up a new world of audiovisual projection. Images shown in the dome show include 'The One Sky Project', 'Fungi: The Web of Life', and 'Jane Goodall - Reason for Hope'.
