The THSR Pass offers unlimited travel on the high-speed rail for a set period. Passes are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase and you can choose a 2-day, 3-day, 5-day, or a Joint Pass according to your travel needs. Taiwan THSR Single Journey Tickets
THSR single journey tickets allow you to travel between pre-selected stations. Purchase tickets for your desired origin and destination, such as Taipei Main Station, Kaohsiung, Taichung, or Taoyuan. These are ideal for travelers not planning extensive multi-city travel, such as those only planning a day trip from Taipei to Taichung or Kaohsiung.

Ticket Redemption
After purchasing your THSR tickets online through WAUG or other platforms, you'll need to redeem them for physical tickets at major THSR stations like Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan, or Kaohsiung (Zuoying). Just follow the signs marked "THSR" at any station – you'll easily find the ticket counters.
Boarding Tips & Tricks
Once you've redeemed your physical ticket, boarding the THSR is a breeze. Simply show your ticket to the staff at the gate (there are no barcode or QR code readers, look for the staff at the far left or far right of the gates). Choosing Your Seat: THSR tickets are for non-reserved seats. If you'd like a reserved seat, you'll need to specify this at the ticket counter.
