Introducing the Taiwan THSR Pass

The THSR Pass offers unlimited travel on the high-speed rail for a set period. Passes are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase and you can choose a 2-day, 3-day, 5-day, or a Joint Pass according to your travel needs. It's the perfect option for travelers planning to explore multiple cities across Taiwan over 3 or 5 days. Pass Options:

1. THSR Flexible 2-Day Pass: Enjoy unlimited THSR travel on any two days. Valid for 28 days from the date of exchange, with the second day of use required within 7 days of the first.
2. THSR Consecutive 3-Day Pass: Unlimited THSR travel for three consecutive days. Valid for 28 days from the date of exchange.
3. THSR + TRA 5-Day Standard Joint Pass: Unlimited travel on Taiwan Railway (TRA) trains for five consecutive days, with the option to use the THSR on two of those days.
4. THSR + TRA 5-Day Express Joint Pass: Same as the Standard Pass, but with the added benefit of reserved seating on the Tzu-Chiang Limited Express and Chu-Kuang Express trains.

Ticket Redemption

After purchasing your THSR tickets online through WAUG or other platforms, you'll need to redeem them for physical tickets at major THSR stations like Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan, or Kaohsiung (Zuoying). Boarding Tips & Tricks

Once you've redeemed your physical ticket, boarding the THSR is a breeze. Simply show your ticket to the staff at the gate (there are no barcode or QR code readers, look for the staff at the far left or far right of the gates).
