The Top of the Rock observation deck has three floors.
67th floor observatory:
It has a spacious indoor space and outdoor terraces on both the north and south sides.
The 67th floor observatory is popular in winter.
69th floor observatory:
If you take the escalator up to the 67th floor observation deck, you will find a larger outdoor terrace.
It's open, but there's a glass window in the Anzen fence.
70th floor observatory:
You will enjoy a completely open view without any fences.
The 70th floor observatory is the most popular
Top of the Rock Observatory at night. The view of New York is so beautiful that it is hard to describe in words. This amazing view must be seen from the wide-open 70th floor observation deck. Of course, the 67th and 69th floor observation decks are also good, but the view from the wide-open rooftop is much more romantic than the view from the glass windows.
The most popular photo spot is the one with the Empire State Building in front of it. Note in advance!

The Top of the Rock Observation Deck is always popular, but it is especially popular around 5pm and 6pm. People come at this time to get a good seat on the 70th floor rooftop and watch the sunset and night view. I recommend visiting during the magic hour instead of going at other times because there are a lot of people. Sunset time can also be reserved without an additional fee!

- If the time you requested is sold out, we will issue a ticket 15 minutes before or after the time and send you an e-ticket via email.
- E-tickets can only be used once and cannot be reused.
- If you wish to change the date/time of your confirmed reservation, please visit the Top of the Rock Observation Deck Ticket Office in person, present your e-ticket, and change to your desired date/time.
However, changes are only possible if the desired date and time are not sold out. - During peak season, waiting times for admission can be very long, so please arrive at least 30 minutes to 1 hour before your scheduled time to ensure a smooth itinerary.
- Top of the Rock is open 365 days a year, regardless of weather. During inclement weather, portions of the deck may be closed for safety reasons.
- In case of bad weather, tickets will not be refunded on the day. However, if you contact the on-site staff on the day of your visit, you can have your ticket reissued for a later time and date.
- There is a security checkpoint process.
- The last elevator to the top leaves one hour before closing time.
