Yanagawa is located about 60 minutes by car from Fukuoka south. Yanagawa is surrounded by a huge waterway that is about 60km long, and is known as one of the world's most famous water towns.

How to get there from Fukuoka
I will introduce how to get to Yanagawa Boat Ride from Fukuoka Tenjin Station. There are several ways to get to Yanagawa, but I will introduce the fastest and most convenient way.
1. Take the Omuta Line from Tenjin Station to Yanagawa Station
2. Take the Yanagawa Boat Ride Shuttle from Yanagawa Station and go to the boat ride location.

The charm of boating in Yanagawa
The biggest reason I recommend the Yanagawa boat ride is because you can feel the most Japanese atmosphere while slowly moving on the boat. If the weather is good, you can feel especially relaxed and truly experience the unique Japanese atmosphere.
