The Paris National Museum of Techniques and Crafts is known as the oldest science and technology museum in Europe. Established in 1794 as an organization to store scientific and technological tools and inventions, it was opened to the public in 1802 and is still in operation.

You can see the steam engine of James Watt (1736-1819), the steam-powered airplane of Clément Ader (1841-1925), and the calculator of Blaise Pascal (1623-1662). Projectors by the Lumière brothers (Auguste Lumière, 1862~1954 & Louis Lumière, 1864~1948), chemical experiment tools by Lavoisier (Antoine Laurent de Lavoisier, 1743~1794), steam cars by Nicolas Joseph Cugnot (1725~1804), You can see works such as the first voltaic battery and the chronophone (a device that reproduces movie sounds) designed by Leon Gaumont (1864-1946).
Meet Foucault's pendulum
In particular, you can see Foucault's famous pendulum here, which was used in an experiment to prove the Earth's rotation. Foucault's pendulum is demonstrated to visitors twice a day.
