BESTOrsay, Louvredan, Pompidou to see the official pictures There are a lot of exhibitions related to contemporary art. It's so wide that even if there are a lot of people, the tea is not good. I can enter Qr but I don't have fast tracks. Everyone has bought it in advance so the line is long !! (I went in when I was open) But it doesn't wait long. I can wait. It's taking a long time to check the luggage in front of you !! I can't get a special exhibition with this. There is a scanning machine at the entrance of the exhibition hall, and you can scan the voucher code there! All is well! Ah ㅋㅋㅋ ㅋㅋㅋ There are people in front of the scanning machine, but thanks to bts, there are a few employees who say hello ~ in Korean. This is work by Marcel Marcel Duchamp.
A collection of French modern art,
Centre Pompidou
Visit the Centre Pompidou, a modern art museum in France, where you can see 103,290 masterpieces representing 6,646 artists. The Centre Pompidou is famous as one of the three major art museums in Paris, along with the Louvre Museum and the Musee d'Orsay .
Although viewing the artwork from the inside is a great experience, you can also get a panoramic view of the Paris cityscape from the rooftop observation deck of the Centre Pompidou.
Showcasing the most modern side of France,
Centre Pompidou
The Pompidou Center, officially known as the Georges Pompidou National Center for Art and Culture, is a place that is evaluated to have changed the paradigm of modern architecture with its exterior appearance of drainage pipes, gas pipes, and ventilation shafts. The building consists of a total of seven floors, and the most popular of these is the National Museum of Modern Art located on the 4th and 5th floors.
It also has the world's best collection of masterpieces in terms of number of works, with approximately 1,400 pieces on display. The exhibited works are also very diverse, including paintings, photographs, films, new media, architecture, and design, and boast a collection that can be called the pinnacle of art.
Don't miss the modern collection on the 5th floor
If you only visit one floor of the Pompidou Center, I definitely recommend the 5th floor. The 5th floor displays over 900 works of art from the modern collection (1905-1960), and you can see masterpieces by famous artists we all know, such as Matisse, Picasso, Kandinsky, Léger, and Miró, all in one place. Compared to other museums, there are not many people, so you can view the works at a relatively leisurely pace.
Introducing the themes of each floor of the Pompidou Center
When you first visit the Pompidou Center, you may be wondering how to move around and see the massive scale of the place. So, I will introduce the themes of each floor so that you can see the floor that best suits your taste first!
1F :
The first floor of the Pompidou Center consists of a café, Galleries 3 and 4, and Cinema 1.
The first floor gallery is mostly comprised of special exhibitions. Different exhibitions are held each time according to the theme.
2F :
The second floor is home to the Bpi, a public library. It is open to the public except Tuesdays and May 1st of each year.
3F :
The third floor is where you can see Kandinsky's materials, along with the Bpi, a public library. You can see a vast amount of materials about him and 20th century art.
4F :
You can see the modern collection starting from the 4th floor. You can see the entire collection from the last 50 years.
5F :
The 5th floor is the heart of the Pompidou Center, where you can see every episode of modern art from 1905 to 1965.
6F :
The 6th floor is a special exhibition hall where you can see different exhibitions every quarter and every month. You can also go up to the terrace rooftop.
7F :

Is it worth a visit to the Pompidou Centre Library?
Usually, when visiting the Pompidou Center, people only visit the art galleries on the 4th and 5th floors, but I recommend visiting the BPI Library on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
This is a free French public library where you can find everything from French classics to recent film materials. It is also more attractive because of its free seating arrangement and wide open space.
Andy Warhol's work that you can't miss on the 4th floor
On the 4th floor exhibition hall, you can see the famous works of Andy Warhol. You can also see works by modern artists such as Cesar, Vasarely, and Joseph Beuys. Personally, I feel that there are more unique and interesting works on the 4th floor than on the 5th floor.
The city view from the rooftop is a must-see
Although it is not a very high place, the view of the city of Paris from the rooftop of the Pompidou Center is also really pretty. You can go up the outdoor escalator on the rooftop of the Pompidou Center. You can see various famous Parisian landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Sacré-Coeur Basilica.
Is this a special exhibition you must see?
The Pompidou Center's special exhibitions change every quarter, so the value of seeing a special exhibition varies each time. However, there are usually three or four special exhibitions open at once, and they cover a variety of topics, so it's good to see them all together.
Of course, if you don't have a lot of time to spend at the Centre Pompidou, I recommend purchasing a ticket that doesn't include special exhibitions .
