BESTThe zoo where the sun goes down is so different and a must-visit place! It may feel a bit far on the map, but the transportation is good so it doesn't overwhelm the itinerary
A special zoo you can visit at night,
Singapore Night Safari
The zoos we know are always closed at night. But what’s really sad is that real ‘wild animals’ are mostly active at night. Singapore Night Safari is a very special place where you can see the world of nocturnal animals that are mostly active at night.
At the Night Safari, you can meet over 2,500 animals from over 100 species. And not on foot, but on a tiger-shaped tram! There are also colorful performances waiting for you.
Meet at night,
A real world of wild animals!
There is no other zoo in the world where you can meet nocturnal animals. Except for one place. Singapore Night Safari. Night Safari is a special zoo where you can meet nocturnal animals that you don't see in the zoos we know, from nocturnal animals like owls and owls to wild beasts like tigers, all on a tram.
So if you're traveling to Singapore, I definitely recommend going there. You can't have this experience just anywhere.
How to get to Night Safari
The Singapore Night Safari is located somewhat outside the city center, so you'll need to know how to get there in advance.
1. Take the SAEX bus:
You can go to the Night Safari by SAEX bus, which has pick-up points located throughout the city.
You can board the bus at the bus stop in front of the DFS Gallery.
2. Using Grab or Uber:
Getting around with Grab is also a good option. Grab is really well-established in Singapore and is convenient to use.
You can expect the amount to be around 30-40 SGD.
3. Using MRT + city bus:
It's the cheapest way, but it takes the longest.
After getting off at Ang Mo Kio MRT Station, take bus number 138 from the bus interchange to reach the Night Safari.
Tram usage tips
The Night Safari tram is a completely open-air tram. The waiting line to get on the tram is already known to be quite long.
Here's a tip! As soon as you enter the Night Safari, get in line for the tram right away. You might think it's too long, but it moves quickly. Also, the tram at the very front is good. You can see each animal for the longest time. The leftmost seat is better than the right. The animals on the left are much more interesting.
