Getting There

Located in the northern part of Singapore, the zoo is a bit of a journey from the city center. Knowing the best way to get there is essential. Here’s an editor-recommended, cost-effective, and convenient option:
1. Shuttle Bus Service
The most popular and convenient method is to take the River Wonders shuttle bus from Exit A of Khatib MRT Station (Red Line) in downtown Singapore. The shuttle runs every 20 minutes from 8:00 AM to 7:20 PM. The fare is S$1, and the journey takes approximately 15 minutes.
2. Public Transportation
Alternatively, you can take bus 138 from Ang Mo Kio MRT Station, alight at Choa Chu Kang MRT Station, and then take bus 927.
The Tram: Your Essential Explorer Tool
